Prayer Requests

Lori asked prayer for her dad. He has prostate cancer which has now moved to his bones. It has moved from his ribs to his skull. The doctors believe the treatment is working, but he is in pain.

Please pray for Emory in the coming weeks. She has taken over the music teacher's position at Perritt until Christmas and needs guidance to balance work and family. Emory says, "I'll miss all the MOPS the rest of the semester." We'll miss you, too!!!!

Also, Shella took a job here in town and will be unable to join us for our meetings any more. Please pray for her transition to work and Parker's transition back to day care.

Lap Game

This ice breaker called the Lap Game was done at our last meeting. It produced a LOT of laughs.

The idea is everyone gets a chair which are organized in a circle. Everyone (facing each other) will get a turn to say I have .....

For example I have:
- a tattoo
- twins
- gray hair ! (LOL)

Then whoever can agree with the statement stands up and moves one seat to the left. Yes... not everyone will move, hence the name the LAP GAME. You may end up stacking (as best you can) four or more women on one anothers' laps.
